Health Tip: TAKE A DEEP BREATH

Shallow breathing is the norm for most people. Notice how you relax when you consciously take a deep breath. Deep breathing has many health benefits. However, it is something that many people are not in the habit of doing.  A simple deep breathing technique is to inhale deeply drawing air into your abdomen, then slowly exhale.  Do this for a few minutes a day to reduce stress and increase the oxygenation of your cells. “The foundation of prosperous health depends on the basic ability of getting oxygen to the cells, and deep breathing is the simplest, most fundamental method of accomplishing that.”
